CONVERSATIONS WITH NEW ZEALAND PHOTOGRAPHERS
When I moved to New Zealand in 2015 I only knew my partners family whom I'd met a few times. I wanted to meet the photography community and felt there wasn't a way of doing it without finding out for myself (I joined PhotoForum, the AIPA, met up with Massey People, went to openings but still...). So I decided to interview New Zealand photographers, mainly from an arty angle, which gave me an excuse to really look at their work then have a chat with them. I love doing it. So far I have spoken to David Cook, Mary Macpherson, Joseph Kelly, Derek Henderson, Harvey Benge, Edith Amituani, Caroline Mcquarrie, Tim Veling, Jono Rotman and Ann Shelton.
